For the busy ones..... Rest, Reset & Coming back to yourself!

Hello lovelies,

We’ve made it… the end of the Easter holidays. And if you’ve been navigating the juggle of routines, childcare, work, and everything in between, I see you.

These days can feel full, stretched, and a little relentless at times.

My intention with everything I offer is to help you find small pockets of stillness and calm within that busyness. Moments where you can pause, breathe, and come back to yourself. These spaces are created by someone who understands how that juggle can feel, and how important it is to have somewhere to land.

We’ve just come back from a week in the Lake District.

The countryside was simply beautiful! Fresh air, open skies & SUNSHINE!

It felt like exactly the kind of reset that this time of year calls for.

We also took the kids to the Honister Slate Mines and if you’re ever looking for something a little different, I cannot recommend it enough. What started as a family day out turned into quite the adrenaline-packed adventure, and watching the kids absolutely love every moment of it was everything. Typhoons flying overhead as we walked the tightrope bridge was EPIC!

It was a wonderful reminder that rest doesn’t always mean stillness. Sometimes it means fresh air, new experiences, and being fully present with the people you love.

I returned home and jumped straight back into teaching an online yoga class this morning.

A little pocket of calm at the end of the week… and at the end of the Easter holidays.

If I’m honest, it wasn’t easy getting up and showing up to teach first thing. But once I did, it felt so good. There was something really special about moving my body first thing in the morning, and it reminded me just how much my body needs that gentle, intentional movement to start the day. Sometimes it’s the things we resist the most that we actually need the most.

That same feeling of showing up for yourself is exactly what I see in our Women's circles and I’m feeling so grateful for them.

Our next circle on 1st May is now fully booked (thank you so much), and it honestly means so much to see these spaces filling with women ready to show up for themselves and each other. There will be another circle on Friday 5th June, 7-9pm.

Our next Switch Off Session is on 26th April, 7:15–8:30 PM.

This one is for you if your mind rarely stops. If you fall into bed exhausted but can’t switch off. If your to-do list follows you everywhere, through dinner, into the bath, right up until your head hits the pillow. This is your invitation to slow things right down. To step out of the doing, the rushing, the constant giving and into rest. A gentle, guided session designed to help your nervous system finally exhale.

And… I’m already thinking ahead.

There will be another pop-up online class coming on Friday 8th May - this time a slightly later start at 9:15AM. A beautiful way to either begin your day with intention, or ease yourself into the weekend.

Before I go, I just want to say something that feels important.

We live in a world that celebrates busy. That measures worth in productivity, output, and how much we can fit into a day. And so many of us, myself included, have had to consciously unlearn the idea that rest is something we have to earn.

Whether that looks like a yoga class, a walk in fresh air, a proper night’s sleep, or simply sitting quietly with a cup of tea, it matters. You matter!

And perhaps just as importantly, look out for each other. Check in on the friend who seems fine. Make time for the conversation that goes a little deeper. We’re not meant to carry everything alone. You deserve to be well. Not just functioning, but truly, gently, well.

Until next time, go gently!

With Love,

Kay 🌿
