A Trauma-Informed, Embodied Approach to Wellbeing
This is not a coaching session in the traditional sense, and it isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach or a quick fix.
This is an embodied practice to wellbeing, a space where we work with the body as well as the mind. Sessions may include gentle movement, breathwork, moments of stillness or meditation, and conversation, guided by what feels supportive for you on the day.

Rather than focusing on goals or outcomes alone, the work is centred on how it feels in your body. We move at your pace, responding to your nervous system, energy, and capacity in the moment. Each session is shaped by what you need, not by a preset structure.
This is a process of building awareness, safety, and resilience over time. It’s not about fixing or pushing, but about reconnecting, learning to listen to your body, notice subtle shifts, and support your wellbeing in a way that is sustainable and compassionate.
My Values
I believe wellbeing doesn’t have to be complicated or extreme. I value presence over perfection, meeting each day as it is and listening to what the body needs in that moment.
With over 22 years of policing experience, much of my work involved supporting people through trauma and crisis. Alongside this, I have my own lived experience of burnout, secondary trauma, and compassion fatigue. I know firsthand how it feels to reach a low place when the weight of caring becomes too heavy.
Because of this, I’m guided by self-compassion, especially on the harder days. I believe in treating ourselves with kindness rather than judgement, and in creating space for rest, softness, and humanity.
Movement and breath are central to how I care for myself now. I value embodied wellbeing practices that support energy, resilience, and regulation, not performance or pressure. These are not things I teach from theory alone, but practices I live and embody because I know how much they matter.
I value simplicity. Small, accessible practices that fit into real life and can be sustained over time, rather than rigid routines or all-or-nothing approaches.
Above all, I value authenticity. Showing up honestly, honouring both the grey days and the lighter ones, and creating spaces where people feel safe to be exactly as they are.

Who Is This For?
This work is not for one type of person, and there is no fixed criteria for who it’s “for”.
You don’t need a diagnosis, a label, or a specific story. You may have experienced trauma, or you may simply feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or no longer quite like yourself.
This space may be supportive if you have lived through experiences such as sexual violence, domestic abuse, coercive or controlling behaviour, a serious accident, or the loss of someone important to you. It may also be for those who have experienced burnout, secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, or long periods of stress where your nervous system has been under constant strain.
And equally, it may be for you even if you can’t point to one clear event, just a sense that something feels off in your body, that you’re always on edge, shut down, exhausted, or struggling to find calm.
At the heart of this work is creating a safe place to come home to your body. Together, we work to build awareness, confidence, and trust in how your body responds to the world around you.
You’ll be supported to learn how to gently downregulate your nervous system when stress or overwhelm shows up, to notice what soothes you and what doesn’t, and to reconnect with a sense of steadiness and ease. This is not about pushing through or fixing yourself, it’s about learning to listen, respond, and care for yourself in a way that feels right in your body
What To Expect..
Our work together begins with an initial conversation. This is a gentle, supportive space for you to share what you’re experiencing, what feels challenging right now, and anything you’re noticing in your body, including situations or moments that may feel triggering or unsettling. There’s no pressure to go into detail; we move at your pace.
From there, each session is shaped collaboratively. This is not a fixed format or a set sequence of techniques. Instead, we check in together: How are you feeling today? What would support you most right now?
Sessions may include a blend of:
• gentle movement or somatic practices
• breathwork
• meditation or moments of stillness
• restorative or mindful yoga
• conversation and reflection
The balance of these elements will change from session to session, guided by your nervous system, your energy, and what feels supportive in that moment. Some days that may mean more movement; other days it may be stillness, breath, or simply talking things through.
This work is not about pushing or performing. It’s about tuning in, building awareness, and learning what helps you feel safer, calmer, and more at ease in your body. Over time, you’ll be supported to recognise what soothes your nervous system, what doesn’t, and how to respond to stress or overwhelm with greater confidence and self-trust.
Above all, this is a personalised, responsive experience, grounded in how it feels in your body, not a one-size-fits-all approach, and not a quick fix, but a supportive process that unfolds at your pace.
